Whenever a person does a top ten list there is certainly going to be some debate, especially in this type of list however this one is going to list some classics and some newbies. Let’s see what you think. Now some names can never be forgotten and will not be left off this list.
Number 10: The man the myth and the Legend; Dracula. However there has been so many Dracula movies over time, it depends on which one you want to look at. My favorite is Dracula from 1992 starring Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins and Winona Ryder. This is a classic.
Truly is a classic in all sense of the word. Psycho starring Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh. This was one of Alfred Hitchcock best movies of all time, and everyone knows better than to stay at the Bates Motel.
Number 8: There is certain characters that will forever be etched in movie fans brains and Leatherface is one of them. Coming in at number 8 is the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There is nothing quite as eerie as watching him dancing around with his chainsaw.
Number 7: Do you want to play? Well play with one of the most popular dolls of all time. Chucky is a little terror and the movie Childs Play is an instant classic. Chucky is well known by most movie buffs and for good reason.
Number 6: This movie was made back in 1982. It had a famous line that everyone knows. “They’re here” Poltergeist is a classic and the scene with the clown under the bed is a classic.
Number 5: How can anyone ever leave Jason Voorhees off the list? Friday the 13th is a classic and the first two were the very best. That hockey mask is well known all over the place and Jason is known very well. If you dare to do it, watch it and then go camping in the woods.
Number 4: Well if we are going to include Jason how can we forget his cousin, Freddy Kruger? A Nightmare on Elm Street was a classic and always had some good scene’s to make a person jump and laugh.
This is the only movie from Stephen King to make the list, but is one of the best movies of all time. The scenes with the little twins is enough to freak anyone out and the words redrum is enough to bother everyone. Yes I am talking about The Shining and it checks in at number 3.
Number 2: Michael Myers anyone. Now when you start looking at horror movies of all time, you cannot forget the famous Halloween movies. I would say number 1 is the best of all of them and Jamie Lee Curtis is the best victim.
Number 1: Drumroll please…The Exorcist is easily one of the scariest movies ever. I personally do not think anyone should let their child play this type of role and I believe Linda Blair was never the same after doing that movie.
